Our Wimbledon IELTS centre is one of the two top English language schools in the UK. It has a 4-week IELTS intensive course for students who have a good level of English.

You can be sure that you will get quality IELTS exam preparation to help you reach the score you need.

The school is also an IELTS exam centre. So, you can do the 4-week intensive IELTS course and then take the exam on the Saturday after the course.

The preparation course is specially designed to cover all IELTS exam techniques and prepare you for the Academic IELTS exam in just 4 weeks.

On the course, you will:

Valencia – a great opportunity to study Spanish in Spain and do an internship

The Spanish plus internship programme combines an intensive Spanish course with a work placement of at least 12 weeks in a company in or near Valencia.

The internship is not paid. This is considered to be a training period to learn and gain experience.
A the end of your internship in Spain you will receive a full report that can be used as a reference in the future.

The Spanish and internship programme

  • The programme is open to full-time students from the European Union.
  • You will do at least a 2-week Spanish course to prepare you for the internship
  • Students need an intermediate level – a B1 – to start your internship in a Spanish company.
  • The internship will:
    • help you learn about Spanish company culture,
    • give you the opportunity to practise your Spanish in a professional context
  • You will remain a part of the school
    • the school will supervise you during the work placement
    • you will be able to take part in the school’s social activities
    • and you can stay in your accommodation.

Application

  • You should apply a minimum of three months before your preferred starting date. This will allow the school to find a suitable company.
  • You should provide
    • a detailed CV
    • a recent photo
    • a covering letter saying why you want to take part in this programme and the sector you wish to work in

San Sebastian – a great opportunity to improve your Spanish and do an internship on the coast of Spain.

The San Sebastian internship programme:

  • Spanish for work preparation course – minimum 2 weeks
  • 9 to 26 weeks internship in a Spanish company.
  • During the internship, you will work  35 hours per week.

The internship programme includes:

  • two modules of specific work preparation with Business Spanish and an introduction to the working environment in Spain.
  • preparation for the Spanish job interview – with mock-interviews for two professional interviews. (The school selects suitable internships, and arranges the interviews.)
  • supervision during the internship
  • evaluation and reports at the end of the internship programme

Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 18
  • Be enrolled in higher education
  • European citizens will need an E-111 form in order to be covered by the  Social Security
  • Non-European citizens must have a student visa. This will be extended once in San Sebastian
  • Intermediate level of Spanish to start the internship.
  • Students with a higher level in Spanish may be able to do a shorter Spanish course. The price of the course will be reduced.

Applying for an Internship programme:

  • You should apply at least 8 weeks before the start of the programme.
  • Documents should be in Spanish.
  • you must fill in the registration form and:
    • send a complete CV and a copy of your passport
    • include a cover letter giving your professional background, the type of work you would like, level of education, interests and reason for doing the programme

Other Internship programmes in San Sebastian:

Six-month Spanish internship programme

  • 3 months studying Spanish, 15 hours a week plus 2 one-week modules work in Spanish company preparation.
  • 3 months internship in Spanish company, 35 hours a week.

Nine-month Spanish internship programme

  • 3 months studying Spanish, 15 hours a week plus 2 one-week modules work in Spanish company preparation.
  • 6 months working in a Spanish company, 35 hours a week

Choose one of Spain’s favourite cities for your Spanish Internship

These internships are for full-time EU students with a minimum Spanish level of B1(intermediate).

*Requirement
Your educational institution in your home country will be asked to sign a statement confirming that you are in a full-time study programme and that the work placement is a component of this programme.

The Spanish and Internship programme

  • A 4-week (or longer) intensive Spanish course with a 12-week (or longer) internship programme in a company based in or near Barcelona.
  • The internship is a 38-hour week and is not normally not paid.
  • It will give you the opportunity to practise and improve your Spanish in a professional environment.
  • You will also develop your work-related skills in a Spanish company.

When can I begin?

  • You should apply at least 3 months before you plan to start the internship to give the school time to find a suitable company.
