How many hours will I study?

You can choose an IELTS programme of 15 or 25 hours a week.

This will depend on your level of English.

1,   15-hour English for academic purposes course with preparation for the IELTS academic test.

• You will have 10 hours a week of IELTS preparation in the classroom, with 5 hours a week of Individual Academic English Personal Study Programme.
• This is for students who have a good level of English.
• You will learn and practise IELTS academic test techniques.
• All parts of the IELTS test are covered

2,  25-hour English for academic purposes course with preparation for the IELTS academic test and general English.

• This course is for students who need to improve their English and to practise IELTS test techniques.
• The general English course will help you improve all your English skills: Speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• The IELTS and academic English module will help you prepare the IELTS academic test and be ready to study in an English-speaking university.

3,  IELTS Evening classes

• Our Newcastle school is now offering quality course to help you prepare the IELTS academic test in the evening.
• The classes take place 2 evenings a week from 6 to 8. There is a 10 minute break.

Who will my teachers be on the IELTS course?

• Teachers are well-trained and have worked around the world.
• They are experienced in IELTS exam preparation and some are IELTS examiners.

IELTS test centre

Our Newcastle school is a test centre for the IELTS academic test to go to an English-speaking university.

You can also take the IELTS general test.

Students who want the IELTS for immigration must take it at UKVI test centre. The nearest centres are Edinburgh and Manchester.
