Nice
Learn French on France's sunny Côte d'Azur.
‘It might be a cliché to say Nice has something for everyone, but the Côte d'Azur's cosmopolitan capital pretty much does.’ The Lonely Planet Guide
Nice, the Capital of the French Riviera, has an exceptional location for any visitor to France, just minutes away from the famous seaside resorts of Antibes, Juan-les- Pins, Cannes, Monaco and Monte-Carlo.
Everything about Nice is an attraction, the walk along the Promenade des Anglais overlooking the blue-green sea, the romantic old town with its narrow winding streets, and its warm sunny climate.
Nice is also second only to Paris in its number of museums and galleries and no visitor should miss the Flower Market, the Matisse Museum, the ancient Roman ruins, or the Russian Cathedral.
The School
Our partner school is located right in the centre of Nice, near the old town and the beach. During the year there are between 30 and 50 students each week, but this grows to 120 in the summer months.
The school was opened over 20 years ago by William Rubinstein, who arrived there after teaching French as a foreign language, first in the United States and then in New-Zealand. He remains a very central figure in the school and is always on hand to welcome and talk to you.
Over those years, the school has built up a solid reputation both for the high quality of its teaching and the warm friendly atmosphere.
The emphasis of the language courses is to help students develop their communicative skills and build their confidence to be able to use French in real communication. Activities are interactive and based on real communication.
The school is part of a network of language schools worldwide that is committed to implementing high standards of quality and innovation in education and training. It is also recognised by the French quality control organisation of French language schools, the Groupement fle, and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Label Qualité Française Langue Etrangère.
