Italian courses - Rome

It would be impossible to describe the beauty, the art, or the atmosphere of Rome in a few words.

And so, we’ll leave it to the people who live there and the millions of tourists who visit the city every year.

Rome is...
history, art, architecture, music, spectacle, colours, views, tastes, life, splendid surroundings.

Rome is also……

its people who, since ancient times, have been known for their hospitality, curiosity and the pleasure they take in meeting people from other languages and cultures.

Whatever you are looking for, it offers the perfect destination to learn Italian and soak up the culture.

Rome

One of the Italy's most prestigious language schools

We have chosen one of the most prestigious Italian Language Schools in the country for our language courses in Rome. The school opened in 1974, and was one of the first language schools in Italy to teach Italian as a Foreign Language.

As well as its Italian Language Courses, the school has also built up an excellent reputation as a teacher training centre for teachers of Italian and as a publisher of course books and teaching materials.

The school, a five-storied Liberty style villa, is situated in the centre of Rome, close to the railway station (Termini Station). The building houses 10 classrooms, and there are 15 other classrooms just a short walk from the main building.

Teachers

The school has 24 permanent teachers, who have worked there for an average of 10 years. All are native speakers and are well qualified to teach Italian as a foreign language. To ensure that students have the very best teaching and to maintain the highest professional standards, the school devotes time each week for the teachers’ professional development.

The school welcomes students, with very different levels and goals, from all over the world. Each year about 2,000 students from more than 60 countries come to the school. This provides a good mixture of nationalities and encourages students to speak Italian to each other outside the classroom.
