Crossroads Languages is a language learning and teaching agency based in the North East of England and Toulouse, France.

The agency was set in 2009 by a professional teacher and school manager after many years in inernational education. At that time, the goal was to provide specialist advice for university students looking for quality language courses. 

From there, as our reputation grew, we have added more schools and more countries.  

Crossroads Languages now works with language schools around the world and we have courses for children and teenagers as well as students, and adults of all ages. We also arrange language courses with internships, aupair work or summer jobs.

Experience
My experience covers 30 wonderful years travelling and teaching in some of the very best language schools and universities in places such as Guadeloupe, Tahiti, San Francisco and Argentina.  

Over the years I have :

  • managed language schools and designed English courses at all levels
  • worked with language exchanges programmes in Tahiti, New Zealand, US, Argentina and Europe
  • prepared students for Cambridge exams, IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC
  • trained professionals at every level in multi-national companies
  • worked in international communication in France’s ‘grandes écoles’
  • set up TEFL courses in professional development for international teachers
  • trained teachers on Cambridge CELTA courses
  • built up a good working relationship with some the most renowned and respected language schools and training centres in the business.

We take the work out of finding your ideal language course. We listen to your needs, answer your questions and find the best language school and course for you.

We communicate with the language school, make sure all your requirements are met and deal with any questions you may have throughout your stay.

We prepare a portfolio of the best language schools
Crossroads uses its solid language teaching and international experience to choose its language schools. We work with some of the best schools world-wide. Our partners provide top quality language courses, taught by trained, experienced teachers.

All the language schools in our portfolio meet strict quality controls in their countries. We only include a school when it meets the highest selection criteria.

We give you the personal attention you need
Student satisfaction is our main concern and we work with only a limited number of schools to ensure we retain our high level of quality and our personal service. We have built up a good working relationship with our partners and through that can ensure you'll get the best language course and service. 

We offer a flexible service
If you want to visit a country or take a language course that is not in our portfolio, then just ask us. We will do the research, make the contacts and then use our experience to make sound recommendations.

We provide our service free of charge
All good language schools work closely with language consultancies and language travel agents. They recognise the vitally important role agents and consultants play, not only in recruiting students, but also in advising and guiding them before they enrol on the course.
Schools pay agents a commission for their work, which means our assistance is completely free to you.  You never pay more than the school’s advertised price.  

We are completely independent.
We choose a language school only for the quality education and services it can offer our students.
